Heat Pump Savings: Don't Miss Out!
While we don’t usually rush our customers, this is one situation where timing truly matters. For years, government rebates and incentives have made it more affordable for homeowners to create comfortable, energy-efficient living spaces. Those incentives aren’t disappearing—but they are changing, and soon.
The Mass Save program has offered rebates of up to $10,000, helping residents dramatically boost efficiency and reduce dependence on traditional fossil fuels. However, these savings are set to decrease.
Two Key Deadlines Are Approaching
The window for securing the highest available incentives is closing quickly due to:
1. Mass Save Program Changes (2026)
The Department of Public Utilities (DPU) has ordered a $500 million funding reduction starting in 2026. This cut is expected to lead to noticeably lower rebate amounts.
2. Federal Tax Credit Cutoff (December 31, 2025)
The Section 25C tax credit, which provides up to $2,000 for qualifying heat pump installations, is available only for systems installed by the end of 2025.
Act Now
If you have been considering upgrading your home's heating and cooling equipment to a more efficient and reliable system, now is the time to get started! To secure the best possible combination of state rebates and federal tax credits before the impending deadlines:
Book Your Home Energy Assessment: This initial consultation is vital. It is usually a Mass Save requirement to assess your home's unique energy needs and confirm your eligibility for project incentives.
Select an Authorized Installer: Ensure you work with a company who is part of the Mass Save Heat Pump Installer Network (such as our experienced team) to guarantee your system meets all necessary efficiency standards and rebate qualifications.
Start the Project Early: Initiate the process today to guarantee your new system is completely installed and operational before the December 31, 2025, tax credit expiration and before Mass Save rebate values decrease.
